I studied at … can we just say lots of schools? BS in undergrad, graduate degrees in teaching and theology. After three seminaries, add four units of chaplaincy/pastoral care, three Unitarian Universalist courses. Education is to be valued, appreciated and sought but not worshipped. But widen the lens just a little to say “learning,” “growth,” “relationships” and “understanding people and stuff,” then I think these are ideas and values are for everyone’s entire life no matter how old.
